Microsoft Build 2025 made one thing clear: AI isn’t just part of the solution anymore—it’s the core platform driving everything we build today !
Here are a few key highlights that really caught my attention:
1. 🤖 GitHub Copilot becomes a true AI teammate
Copilot is evolving from helping with code suggestions to acting like a real partner—handling reviews, debugging, and more. And with Copilot Chat now open-sourced for VS Code, it’s becoming even more powerful.
👉 This shows we’re moving from assistive AI to truly collaborative AI in our engineering and development workflows.
2. 💻 Windows AI Foundry: AI development right on your PC
Now you can train, fine-tune, and deploy models straight from your Windows machine using simple APIs.
👉 This makes AI more accessible and gives developers the ability to build and test faster—right where they work.
3. ☁️ Azure AI Foundry: A massive library of models + smart tools
Azure now hosts thousands of models (now included Grok), plus tools like Model Router and performance Leaderboards.
👉 Azure is shaping up to be the go-to platform for building, testing, and scaling AI solutions.
4. 🌐 Enabling the Open Agentic Web : Supporting Model Context Protocol (MCP) to let AI agents securely access services and data across platforms using existing sign-in methods. With NLWeb, websites can now expose content to AI agents via conversational interfaces—acting like HTML for the agentic web.
👉 A foundational step toward building a secure, interoperable AI ecosystem.
5. 🛡️ Build secure, enterprise-ready AI agents
With the new Agent Service and identity controls like Entra Agent ID, you can create teams of AI agents that work together securely and are easy to monitor.
👉 This takes AI agents from idea to enterprise reality—built with trust and control from the ground up.
These new updates show how AI is moving beyond hype into real, enterprise-grade solution —secure, adaptable, and built to scale.
It’s an exciting time to build. Let’s keep exploring this evolving tech stack and push the boundaries of what we can deliver with AI. This is about building AI that understands your business—making it smarter and more relevant to your teams, organization, and customers.💡🚀
