Microsoft Reboot – App Camp – 22nd March 2014, Microsoft

Reboot is the first ever full day community driven multi city, multi-track event happening in Hyderabad. Reboot will witness great line up of speakers from different parts of India who are great community leaders, helping grow and shape the technical communities in their respective cities. Many of them are the Microsoft Most Valuable Professionals or Microsoft Employees. Reboot is also part of Asia Wide Microsoft MVP Community Camp which is happening in 22 cities from 7 countries all through Asia, China and Japan, which makes it more special and unique.

Delivered a session at BVRIT Engineering collage on Kinect for Windows SDK, to over 800 students.

TechED India 2012

I am very happy and excited to announce that this TechEd I will be presenting along with my friend Jebarson. We will be presenting a session which will showcase the integration onWindows Azure, Windows Phone, Windows 8 Metro and Kinect.

For the presentation we have developed a proto solution for Home Security. Well let me explain how we have put all these technologies into action. The Kinect device will serve as a watch dog at the home which is connected to the Azure. The device will be uploading patrol images to the Azure on regular intervals. Once there is a human intrusion detected, the Kinect will send a alert to the Azure and also will start streaming the live video to the Smooth Streaming Server hosted on Azure. Once the Azure, receives the alert, it will send a notification using Microsoft Push Notification Server (MPNS) to the subscribed Windows Phones and Windows 8 Metro apps where you can watch the video streamed live from the Kinect. Well, that’s not the end, we will also demonstrate on controlling Kinect from Windows Phone / Windows 8 Metro app using Azure App Fabric.

Microsoft Virtual Tech Days – 15th Dec 2011

The 13th edition of Microsoft Virtual Tech Days – being held on 14th to 16th Dec 2011. I’ll be present ing a session on Web Developer Track and will talk about “Inside IIS Request Processing and ASP.NET Page Life Cycle” on 15th Dec 2011 from 3:00pm – 4:00pm (IST) . Understanding the ASP.NET Page Life Cycle is an essential knowledge for developing ASP.NET Web Application, and before Page Life Cycle, IIS does a numbers of internal process with the request coming from client browser. During this session I will discuss how IIS process ASP.NET Requests, what happens when some client request comes to IIS, how IIS decided what kind of request it is and later in internals of ASP.NET Page lifecycle.

Microsoft Virtual Tech Days – 9th Feb 2011

The 11th edition of Virtual TechDays – being held on 9th to 11th Feb 2011. I am glad to say that, I will present a session on “Caching enhancements in ASP.NET 4.0” on 9th Feb 2011 from 3 PM to 4PM (IST) . ASP.NET 4 introduced an extensibility on output caching where developers can create their own custom cache provider to store the cache data in out of process. Output-cache providers can use any storage mechanism like database, file system, cloud etc. to persist output cached content. In this session I will be discussing the enhancement of ASP.NET 4.0 Caching by creating different custom cache provider for different type of output caching.
